Special events in 2011

• April 24 & 25: Easter holiday - diesel train rides on the standard gauge track to Hoya.
  Br.Vilsen dep.: 11.00am; 1.00pm; 3.00pm; 5.00pm; Hoya dep.: 10.00am; 12.00am; 2.00pm; 4.00pm.
  
• May 1: Season start at the Museum Railway; special train schedule; additional events.
  
• May 14: "Spargel-Express" - culinary train ride with asparagus dinner, Br.Vilsen dep. 6.30pm, Price 32,50 EUR (Reservation required, please call the Restaurant "Dillertal", Phone: 04252/2680 or FAX: 04252/678).
  
• May 28 & 29: Model Railroad Show at Heiligenberg and vintage car meeting - model railroad show at the DEV carriage shed at Heiligenberg and vintage car meeting along the museum railway; special train schedule.
  
• June 12 & 13: Pentecost, additional train operations.
  
• June 25: "Schlemmer-Express" - culinary steam ride with 5 Meal-Stations, Br.Vilsen dep. 6.30pm, Price 36,50 EUR (Reservation required, please call the Restaurant "Dillertal", Phone: 04252/2680 or FAX: 04252/678).
  
• August 6 & 7: Railfan Spectacular, additional train rides, freight train operations - bring your camera!
  
• August 13: "Kartoffel-Express" - late steam ride with a special potatoe dinner, Br.Vilsen dep. 6.30pm, Price 28,50 EUR (Reservation required, please call the Restaurant "Dillertal", Phone: 04252/2680 or FAX: 04252/678).
  
• August 26 to 30: Additional train rides to the "Brokser Heiratsmarkt" (traditional fair) on the standard gauge track (Eystrup - Hoya - Br.Vilsen and Br.Vilsen - Syke).
  
• September 10 & 11: Open House at the museum and Children's day - guided tours, special activities and explanations for children.
  
• October 24: "Oktoberfest-Express " - late steam ride with a special bavarian dinner, Br.Vilsen dep. 6.30pm, Price 24,50 EUR (Reservation required, please call the Restaurant "Dillertal", Phone: 04252/2680 or FAX: 04252/678).
  
• October 3: Season end at the Museum Railway.
  
• November 26; December 3/10/17: Train rides with Santa Claus - Br.Vilsen dep.: 2.00pm; 4.15pm.
  
• November 27; December 4/11/18: Train rides with Santa Claus - Br.Vilsen dep.: 11.15am; 2.00pm; 4.15pm.

   Train 14 may depart up to 30 minutes later.

Conditions You can interrupt your trip at every station. Please ask the conductor for details. Additional trains and group reservation on request, ask for charter. For information or booking call the DEV station office at Bruchhausen-Vilsen. Ticket counter and Museum-Shop at Bruchhausen-Vilsen station will open one hour before departure of the first train.
